Realme is gearing up to bring the P4 to Nepal, following the earlier arrival of the P4 Power. While the P4 Power targeted the premium segment with its massive 10,001mAh battery, the regular P4 aims at a more affordable price point. The big question is whether it can live up to the reputation the P series has built in the Nepali market.

Expected Price of Realme P4 in Nepal
Realme has officially teased the launch of the P4 in Nepal through its social media channels, and the device is already listed on the company's global website alongside the P4 Lite and P4x. However, the official price has not been announced yet.
Based on current estimates, the Realme P4 price in Nepal could be around Rs. 55,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The final pricing will be confirmed at the official launch event.
For reference, the P4 Power that arrived earlier tried to challenge Xiaomi's popular Redmi Note series with its 10,001mAh battery. The regular P4, while not as extreme, still packs a large 7,000mAh battery and aims to compete in the mid-range segment.
Realme P4 Design and Build
The Realme P4 follows a familiar flat design language common in modern smartphones. It features a rectangular camera module housing multiple lenses, an LED flash, and an AI Pulse Light. The design is not entirely new, but the Aero Racing theme sets it apart.
Depending on the colour variant, Racing Purple or Racing Green, the back panel includes a racing stripe along the right side, giving the phone a sportier and more distinctive appearance.
Realme P4 Display
One of the standout features of the Realme P4 is its display. The phone comes with a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel offering a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2344 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate with up to 180Hz touch sampling rate, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and peak brightness of up to 4000 nits in APL mode.
For everyday use, the screen delivers 600 nits of typical brightness and 1200 nits in high brightness mode, making it comfortable to use even outdoors.
Realme P4 Performance
Under the hood, the Realme P4 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset built on a 6nm process. The phone comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. While the memory configuration is generous, the processor is a budget-tier chip, which may not deliver flagship-level performance.
The device runs Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0 out of the box. Realme has not yet confirmed its software update policy for this model.
Realme P4 Camera
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP wide sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus, housed in a 5P lens. The front camera is an 8MP shooter with an f/2.0 aperture and an 80-degree field of view.
Realme P4 Battery and Charging
The battery is another major highlight. The Realme P4 packs a 7,000mAh cell that should comfortably last more than a full day for most users. It supports 45W wired fast charging and also includes bypass charging, which is useful for gaming while the device is plugged in.

Final Thoughts
The Realme P4 brings a few solid features to the table, including a vibrant AMOLED display, a generous memory configuration, and a large battery. However, the expected price is hard to justify when the performance does not quite match the rest of the package.
The Snapdragon 685 is the deciding factor. You can have plenty of RAM and storage, a good display, and a massive battery, but none of that fully compensates for a processor that feels underpowered for the price. Unless Realme launches the P4 at a more competitive price in Nepal, it may be worth waiting for the official launch before making a decision.
