iQOO's next tablet is getting closer to launch. A Geekbench 7 entry has surfaced for a device identified as "vivo iPA2693", a model number widely linked to the upcoming iQOO Pad Pro. The listing does not reveal a price, but it does confirm what the company has already teased: the tablet runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
| Benchmark item | iQOO Pad Pro (Geekbench listing) |
|---|---|
| Model number | vivo iPA2693 |
| Chipset | Qualcomm SM8850 (Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5) |
| CPU | 2 cores up to 4.61 GHz + 6 cores at 3.63 GHz |
| Memory | 11.27 GB listed (12 GB configuration) |
| Operating system | Android 17 |
| Geekbench 7 single-core | 3,118 |
| Geekbench 7 multi-core | 10,523 |
What the Geekbench score means
The single-core result of 3,118 and the multi-core score of 10,523 place the Pad Pro roughly in the same performance bracket as phones built around the same silicon. On gsmSpaces, the iQOO 15 and iQOO 15 Ultra both use the SM8850-AC version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the iQOO 16 has moved on to the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.
A tablet also has an advantage phones cannot match: a larger chassis leaves more room for heat spreaders and, in this case, an actual fan. That should help the Pad Pro hold its clocks during long gaming sessions. Benchmark runs recorded before release are still only a preview, since retail units often score a little differently once the final firmware is tuned.
Confirmed hardware: 8.8-inch OLED, 9,020 mAh battery and a built-in fan
iQOO has already confirmed the core specifications of the Pad Pro. The tablet pairs an 8.8-inch OLED panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate, a 9,020 mAh battery and a dedicated Q3 gaming chip, and it will ship with a built-in cooling fan. The high refresh screen and the fan make the intent clear: this is a tablet built for mobile gamers first and general media use second.
It follows the iQOO Pad Ultra, the compact flagship tablet iQOO released in the previous generation.
Launch date: October 28 in China
The Pad Pro is scheduled to launch in China on October 28 at 7 PM local time, alongside the iQOO Neo 12. That phone also carries the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a 9,000 mAh battery, so iQOO will spend the evening pushing performance hardware on two fronts at once.
Should you wait for it?
Pricing and global availability have not been announced, and the benchmark listing says nothing about display resolution, charging speed or how many Android updates the tablet will receive. Buyers in Bangladesh should treat the Pad Pro as one to watch rather than a confirmed option. What the Geekbench entry does show is how the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 behaves when it is not squeezed into a phone chassis. You can follow the rest of the launch coverage in our news section.
